lady-gaga-kiis-fm-s-jingle-ball-2011-01 Lady GaGa's concert in South Korea on Friday, April 27 was met with protests from Christian groups. These people gathered outside the Olympic Stadium in Seoul just before GaGa was due to take the stage, urging the pop star to cancel the concert because it's "pornographic" and promotes homosexuality.

Rev. Yoon Jung-hoon representing Civilians Network said, "Some people can accept this as another culture but its impact is huge beyond art and debases religions. Even adults can't see her performance which is too homosexual and pornographic." He would attend the concert to monitor the performance.

The protest actually started to go public earlier this week when the groups put up their signs and posters. They threatened to "take all measures such as boycotting Hyundai Card [a sponsor of Gaga's tour] to root out this kind of obscene culture." South Korea's government additionally banned anyone below 18 years old inside the concert venue.

Despite the protests, a lot of her fans, many of whom were dressed like her, showed up at her concert. GaGa has not made a full statement about this but she tweeted, "I can you hear you Korea. I'm shaking." She is scheduled to perform in Hong Kong next.
