Bee Gees' Robin Gibb Dying in Hospital

wenn3194789 Robin Gibb is in critical condition, a family friend told The Sun. The Bee Gees singer's health has gone up and down in the past few years due to liver and colon cancer, but it is believed that he has a second tumor that keeps his recovery unsuccessful and also pneumonia which is bad for his situation.

Robin reportedly is lying in a coma and doctors fear he has only days to live. His family, wife Dwina, brother Barry Gibb, and his children, are said keeping a bedside vigil to pray for his survival. The 62-year-old is being treated at a private hospital in Chelsea, West London.

"Our prayers are with Robin. he has kept so positive and always believed he could beat this," the family friend told The Sun. "Sadly, it looks like he has developed pneumonia, which is very bad in his situation. If there is anyone you would put money on pulling through such a dire situation, it would be Robin because he is a fighter. But this is a battle he will struggle to win."

Robin's twin brother Maurice died in 2003 of twisted intestine at the age of 53. Robin sent a scare when he was rushed to hospital for severe abdominal pain last year before he announced the cancer. However, a few months later he said that he was in remission from the deadly disease and was able to perform on stage again. In February this year, he re-entered hospital as part of his treatment and rehabilitation. He was also admitted to hospital two weeks ago for another intestinal surgery and was given the all clear.
